I am not an optimist; I am a realist. I am not looking for the good side; I am seeking the real or probable side of people and things. Likewise, I am not a downer; I am just trying to avoid the things that are.
No one strives to be alone—or, at least, most people don't—and I am not seeking that place in life; however, many interpersonal relationships seem to dwell there.
I know that people can change, but they seldom do; this is a problem because if you sincerely make a modification to your life, often it's neither acknowledge nor accepted.
