The Poet Enters

Tomorrow will be the end of a day, and the end of a year, Some people will find sorrow, while others find good cheer It's a yearly ritual, in which many take the time to participate It is a part of taking charge of our lives, or leaving it to its fate Take a moment, maybe three, and consider this day to come Grab a part, change it, we don't always have to be so numb.

I don't think I can commit to another new year; they always ask you to make resolutions, and then they turn around and leave after twelve months.

‎ We are always trying to be the person we want to be, and always avoiding the effort which would take to get us there.

In the face of new things; remember, they will be old things, soon enough.

Each day takes us forward, and it is mostly up to us to determine where.

There is a time and a place for peace, and I feel that mankind has yet to locate that place and time.

Our hopes are displayed in our actions each day Our wishes of compassion and the words we say Have a day of Peace, Hope and Kindheartedness May all of your good intentions have great success And your friends and family have a heart full of rest

Do our friends care for us, or do we want too much Is it even proper for us to have thoughts, as such Kindness is expressed by our hearts and not our money And in a world such as ours, that sounds kind of funny If we can't love all year, how about for just a season And because we care, should be our only reason

We don't have to believe in fantasy to make someone's dream a reality.
